Back to page 17 and better times;  I went to both replays against Wolves in the quarter-finals.

My memory is that Drinkell hit the bar at Wolves (in front of 10,000 Town fans), not Ford or Brolly.  The memory plays tricks though.

What would we give for a team half as good as that today?

definately at least 3  from the commentary...Cardwell fluffed one, Matt fluffed two

There you are then, a vast improvement on Cambridge a couple of weeks ago, all we need now is Padraig Amond for next week

Seriously I've only seen Town twice this season Cambridge and Colchester. At Colchester we could have been 3 or 4 up if it wasn't for their keeper, we weren't missing 'em, they were saving 'em, it could all turn around next week

Wilkinson picked the wrong team today. We all know that.

Who would you have picked bearing in mind who he has got to choose from striker-wise

Can I take it we actually made a few chances today?

It wouldn't matter if we created a chance every minute of every match if we don't convert them

It's goals that count and the opposition are doing that with every game against us... one or two chances are converted without fail

Rubbish, no one will keep this team up best 3 midfielders gone, Dembele not fit/lost all confidence, only 1 good defender, plus a loanee who hasn't kicked a ball yet. No strikers with any natural scoring ability or ability to control a football (though Vernam has some skill) it will be like rearranging deckchairs on the titanic for the rest of the season. Utterly disgusted with what Fenty allowed to happen and what He I hate to name did. Wilko needs dumping at end of season as well. Give him 3 month notice so he actually has to earn half of his payoff, Only players to come out of todays game with any kudos were Mills and McKeown and a cameo role from Vernam.

Seem to remember Kev Moore going really close with a header in the first game.

Vernam for a start would have been a positive pick in the starting line up but he came on two thirds of the way through when it was already too late

At the minute we're scrapping for our lives, it doesn't matter how many chances you create, we seriously need goals now, and if we don't average a point a game from now on in, it's almost certain that we'll be relegated.

FFS someone else blaming the fans.

It's the players that have to turn it around, another magnificent showing from the travelling fans today and rewarded with another defeat.
