And yet, the squad was decimated in January, with a barrowload of unfit, untried, untested loanees brought in. I've been asking myself why and it always boils down to saving money being more important than anything else.

£1000pw in League Two football is intercourse all. I had heard from a fairly good source that another midfielder we had was on £2,500pw.

I honestly don't mate and truly believe a change is required at board level but can't see it happening. Just hoping for things to settle down on the pitch and then an investor might pop up out of the blue.

All I'm trying to get at is we've just got a new Manager and we should concentrate giving him our full attention because no matter what we say on here will make no difference with getting the board replaced or changed.

Just gets boring when one minute we're all excited about the MJ announcement then the next we're straight onto Fenty again over a Tweet.

I think people wouldn't take any notice of these tweets if what has happened at GTFC this season was a one off. Unfortunately as we are all aware it has been a catalogue of disasters since 2002. Relegation after relegation, awful managerial appointments, terrible players signed, bad PR, a downright feeling of despondency about the club. Operation Promotion and beating Forest Green was a great moment when we got promotion back into the Football League but the board should have never let us get into that position in the first place.
