In the general oppobrium about the performance I'd like to say a little something positive about Hooper. I'll readily admit I wasn't ecstatic when he replaced Jackson (on THAT note we really aren't having that much luck are we? Jackson looked lively before his injury) but I thought he did quite well when receiving the ball on the ground. His through ball to Bambi was excellent and should have resulted in more from Matt. He also played a part in the build up to the penalty. I do think there is a player in there and it wouldn't take a great deal from the new manager to get it out.

I thought Hooper was one of the better players and he tried to make things work, With the right encouragement there is a player in there.

You think there is a player in there? you must be one of the few, too many times he has played as if he couldn't give a excrement.

Slade might as well have still been there. It was like a carbon copy of the previous game with Crawley.

Their number 9 was everything we hoped Matt would be but isn't.

I too thought Hooper was one of our better players today
At the other end of the scale were Osbourne who was weak in mind and body and the totally anonymous Berrett.
I don't agree that the players weren't trying just that they are all shot of any confidence and some just aren't good enough.
Cambridge were pretty poor tbh but didn't have to do too much to win 3-1

I'm having trouble remembering when he was involved to any meaningful extent game time-wise.

Contradicting myself now.... but..... how on earth did we flirt with the playoffs a few months ago?? Because we desperately need some of that now
Getting rid of the top goal scorer ensures we won't see that. Well done Slade.

I liked how he took his penalty, then again he could have tried to head it in as in reality noting was at stake. He needs to lose a serious amount of timber and then take his shirt off and look at his number, strikers score more when they get in the box, look at Amond. Talented? He has it I think he just needs to use it...............

Train from Cambridge to Peterborough, Peterborough to Dumpcaster, Dumpcaster to Scunthorpe. Just seemed one of the longest ever. Turkish Delight kebab shop on Ashby High Street and three scunts are taking the urine about us, they don't realise I'm town, anyone who knows me will tell you I like a row. I'm too embarrassed to be bothered and just wait for my food and intercourse off feeling copulated off.
