1. Why would their clubs let them go?
2. How much would they cost?
3. Why would they want to come to a Grimsby side that's clearly struggling? If they're coming for the money, are their hearts going to be in it? Are they the types of players we want?

More questions than answers it seems.

We have to manage our expectations and focus on whats actually achievable in this historically difficult transfer window!

Underwhelmed with this signing but good luck to the lad anyway.

I can only see us in a relegation scrap at the end of the season the way things are going.

Looks  to me like he's not getting any dosh to play with hence hopefully we will stay up with what we have got more or less,I don't think Fenty has got faith in slade this season anymore but it might backfire with relegation.

We will know in a few games if he is any good, will keep an open mind till then about whether this is a good signing, as no real record of playing at league level yet.
