Fantastic!! 10k in a couple of hours! My donation of 100 will be pledged on Friday!

Have to commend the Trust and the Club for such a great initiative!

All doing our bit but absolutely hats off to the Mullens! A massive thank you from me as a GTFC fan! Without a doubt your generosity will have spurred on so many like me to pledge.

£11,000 boom

"Pound for pound, and class for class, the best football team I have seen in England since the war. In the league they were in they played football nobody else could play. Everything was measured, planned and perfected and you could not wish to see more entertaining football." Bill Shankly, Manager GTFC 1951-54

Surely the full £20k in one day isn't going to happen?

What a fantastic response to this pledge! Great idea!
I have donated £35 today and may donate more later. I have spread the word to my Norwegian friends through my Facebook page and hope you will get some more money from abroad.
As I am writing this the amount is £10,803 and with the 5 K from the Trust, it looks like that the target will be reached quite early. Good job, everyone!
UP the Mariners!

+1

I know this is not the reason they have done but I would like to publicly thank them for their generosity. A real shot in the arm for the club.

The reaction to our playoff defeat could have been VERY different and stuff like this together with the signing of key players has ensured a defeat has created something really positive for the club.

I have been away and there are a lot of posts to read.

Some info please on donating?

I pledged £100 for the Trust about a week ago, along with many other fans.  This was on a Sticky thread.

I want to give once, but not twice. Is my £100 part of the the Trusts £5,000 donated to the "Mullens offer"?

If not, do I need to "re-pledge £100" now as this will count double with he Mullens' generous offer to double it?

Thanks.
