The Conference just aren't very good at marketing the final tickets.  Wimbledon v Luton in 2011 has just over 18,000 which is pathetic when both clubs are in or very close to London and well supported. Last year Cambridge v Gateshead only had 19,000 - again a poor crowd considering both teams are close to large centres of population with good transport links to London.

North Ferriby took 3000 to the FAT. I think the FA are just better at organising and pricing these occasions.

Surely the fact its on TV is the biggest influence, previously if you wanted to see Town at Wembley you had to go, so if your not an avid fan why pay out about £100 to go all that way when you can sit at home or go to the pub &  watch it. Me, I'll be there I wouldn't miss it for the world.
