Whatever you think of the trophy. i still hate losing to no mark part timers like Gateshead.

This time next year we'll be enjoying the Johnstone Paint trophy.

I think we've got more chance of playing the painters.

Through the door there came familiar laughter,
I saw your face and heard you call my name.
Oh my friend we're older but no wiser,
For in our hearts the dreams are still the same.

Right, we better get 3 points against Nuneaton now. I'm gonna be very annoyed if we put in a lethargic and tired performance against them.

So will I, and if we do Hurst will get hammered, and rightly so. No doubt the vast majority of those who were selected tonight will be picked again on Saturday, not including Paddy of course, who couldn't possibly hope to retain his place. Presumably we can now release the likes of Winfarrah, Watson, Bignot etc and save some money.

Hope they draw at Wrexham on Saturday, and have five postponements before the game is decided!

It still hurts to lose though.

Oh well, three points on Saturday is ultimately more important.

We already have a couple of matches to catch up, and our departure helps avoid a chronic fixture pile up.

Might we still have games postponed due to league opposition still in the trophy?

Why don't you start the thread now?

The aim of argument or discussion should not be victory but progress.
