For all their failings (and I'm one of their harshest critics, apart from Swin,) we are making progress. No way should we be changing managers now or any time soon.

I bet even swin would not want them sacked.

Does it not say an awful lot about the OP that he/she appears to think we only have one manager, or at best they think that only one of our management duo is responsible for what goes on at the club.

Well Pete I suppose it all depends on how many chances Fenty is prepared to give them. I certainly don't want to see them sacked at this stage of the season while there is still an outside chance of promotion via the playoffs -that would be ridiculous.

That said though Fenty made it very clear that it was sh!t or bust time this season and if we are stuck in this awful league again next season then there might be an argument for a change - it's all very well saying we have progressed under Itchy and Scratchy, by May we could find ourselves exactly where we were last year at the same time with potentailly not such a big cash pot to spend.

Getting to Wembley might excite all the little kids and bring out the 'we might never go there again let's enjoy it' merchants and getting to the playoffs might give some temporary hope to the older more sensible fan but realistically how many more seasons can the club afford to sit in the non-league and therefore how long can we persist with the current management team?

I wondered about this point . Why not sack PH , maybe he is the problem !
But in all seriousness it would be absolutely insane to even contemplate removing The Dynamic Duo. They have turned the team around in a comparatively short time from a bunch of journey men who were more bothered about getting paid at the end of the week to a squad that does appear to care about the club, the fans and their fellow team-mates. Sure, we have had a disasterous week but we are still in the hunt for a play-off place at least , which is something most fans would have settled for at the beginning of the season.

Should not even be talking about this
Young managers, learning all the time, have turned the club around, great eye for a player
Should be thinking about a contract extension if anything

This thread is mightily depressing......

If people are moaning that we have slipped from 1st to 5th, then our aspirations must be hellishly higher than three years ago.

Most fans would have taken a play off place at the start of the season.

We are missing Niven badly.
