i was very sceptiacl when these two were apponted, i dont mind admitting that at the time i thought it was a mistake. I was crying out for a proven seasoned manager with plenty of experience from the football league who hopefully had enough contacts in the game to help us out. i thought in all honesty that the dynamic duo's appointment was a step backwards and almost accepting we are a non league club and lacking ambition.

How wrong was i.   scott and hurst have revitalised a side and a club in doom and gloom,  they have brought back the feel good factor of being a town fan again. they go about their business under the radar and have pulled off some fantastic signings for a club in our position and have developed a team with a great defensive record, a solid if not spectacular midfield and on paper one of the best attacking line ups in the league.  we all feel it would be even better had hearn been fit this season for sure but considering where we have been and where we are now then to even conemplate changing managers is simply the craziest thing i have heard in a long while. Stability will bring success, am convinced of it, we have the nucleus and the ambition of a good football club, ok if we dont go up people will say it is a failure, i wont, as progress has been made, we can all see that, give these two more time and anyway who is to say we arent going up in the playoffs this year.

scott and hurst dont change a thing, we have hit a lean patch for sure but dont comromise your beliefs, your talents took us to the top of the table a few weeks back, and we have not becom sh!te in a month.   a fully fit town is a very strong unit, and that is all down to the current managers assembling this squad with the backing of mr fenty and the board.

Anybody who thinks they should be sacked should be sectioned under the Mental Health act

The tactical genious has asked the question on twitter.

In for me but season is over Rob.

Who is 'the tactical genious [sic]'?

In.

My only worry when we made the January signings was that so many new faces might disrupt the flow.  Changing the management at such a crucial time would disrupt the flow even more.  And I don't think either manager has done anything to warrant getting the sack.

I'm sorry but it's easy to say now that the new signings might disrupt the flow but let's think for a minute - just what kind of team would we be able to field right now if we hadn't made those signings?  Damned if you do..............

I don't think there is any doubt they are doing at least a half decent job and are our best managers for some time. Not that that is saying much.

As I said earlier on, don't think it would be a productive thing to do and might send us backwards.  And again, generally believe we have a good squad, just lacking goals and suffering from a poorly organised league schedule.  But like I said earlier, not over yet, nothing to stop other teams doing the same as we have over the past week

I am not saying it 'now' - I actually said it back in January, when we were still doing well - and even so, I was overwhelmingly in favour of signing Brodie and Devitt.  The point I am making now is that sacking the managers would disrupt the flow a hundred times more.  I am very much in favour of keeping Scott and Hurst.

I am also quite curious to know who is asking whether or not they should get the sack.

Next season his brother could be out of a job, bring him to Town as goal scoring coach! The final 1/3 is where we struggle.
