Still think with our big away support this would sound quality.

That would sound brilliant if enough people joined in.

About time we had some decent songs for our players - not ones just nicked from other clubs

How about

Give me joy in my heart keep him scoring
Give me joy in my heart I pray
Give me joy in my heart keep him scoring
Keep him scoring to the break of day

Sing Ross Hannah, Sing Ross Hannah, Sing Ross Hannah to the king of kings

I'm going back to the late 80's, early 90's now when this little ditty was doing the rounds at most Town away games. Factually incorrect on more than one count though!

Similar to the "Everywhere we go" chant sung by The Pontoon now, one person sang the line and the rest joined in after.

"Everywhere we go,
The people wanna know,
Where the hell are you from,
We are from Grimsby,
Supersonic Grimsby,
Haddock and chips,
One pound fifty,
Buy em from the Seaway,
Number One chippy,
Wine and diiiiine,
At the Pier39,
Everywhere we go,
The people wanna know,

We got the best team in the land, we got the best team in the land etc etc.

I like that one. Did you sing that at the last home game? I'm sure I heard the middle group of the pontoon sing something like that.

"Pound for pound, and class for class, the best football team I have seen in England since the war. In the league they were in they played football nobody else could play. Everything was measured, planned and perfected and you could not wish to see more entertaining football." Bill Shankly, Manager GTFC 1951-54

It's already Christmas Les.  Haven't you watched the adverts lately?
