You should remember that Cook is in his 1st season as a full time pro,

It takes time to adjust,

Look at Pearson last season compared to this,

Cook will come good but not this season I think.

That would be a valid point if it was true.

Pearson despite not having a good first season showed some potential and looked solid enough in his first season after a shaky start.

Cook, on the other hand, has shown nothing to me to suggest he'll come good.

And and and Pete,  I`m afraid football is all about now, Cook will maybe come good and Pearson may learn to trap a ball within a six foot radius, Elding could try putting his boots on the wrong foot to avoid missing sitters, but wntill then we need to help S Pearson and Pond out in the goal threat area.
We need to look at another striker on loan till the King returns or suffer the consequences

Hearn is due back around march but could be earlier or later depending on there are no reactions when he starts training again.  He may be ready play a few games wouldn't it be awesome if he came back into contention whilst we are in the playoffs.

Coming back and firing on all cylinders might be different. We should not expect an instant return to form. May have to wait until next season. Having him involved would be a boost though.

We will all hope that he comes back and gets on the score sheet early, but all of us will justl get a lift to see him playing some part in what games are remaining however small.

What about Neilsen and Hannah as a front two then play football or a ball over the top to exploit the space using Neilsen's pace. Other teams have proven in the past that you don't need a little and large striker partnership
