Great point tonight am sure we'd of all took a point before the game
But disregarding the point, 4 games in i think we have serious problems with the players that we currently have. How hurst can say "no disrespect to last years side we think our current players are better" is beyond me.
Hatton when he loses the ball he does not run back and get a foot in he just jogs, its this effort and this commitment to the cause i;m trying to highlight. Theres players here who are just happy to try blend into the background. I secretley think the managers are aware that some of the signings have been the wrong ones. The players standing out to me at the minute are Hatton,Colbeck,Artus,Disley,Soares and cook all of these show not effort on the pitch and look as if they arent interested at all. Personally i'd try offload as many as possible while we can, obviously its unlikley but these arent the players we want at the club. Its all about money nowadays and i;m living in dreamland but players the likes of connor townsend, jamie devitt who arent getting a look in at hull are the ones who would turn it around for us. defensivley we are sound maybe this is because S n H where defenders? is this the reason why we are lacking ideas going forward??? The final half of the pitch really does need a coat of looking at, if not we are definatley in for a mid table mediocre finish.

But AFC wimbledon are struggling and are conceding loads of goals and he has won numerous awards and all of our new players have come with good reviews from fans (maybe except colbeck) so obviously they all are capable of playing far better if the tactics are right, but at the minute the tactics couldn't be more wrong

Devitt and Thownsend are not 'struggling to get a look-in' at Hull. They've both been in the first team squad.

I don't think you can really accuse any of the current team of a lack of effort.
When you're not winning its easy(lazy, almost) to just question the effort because you want to believe we wouldve won if they'd tried harder. I don't think that's the case at all though.
If we'd been carrying players not putting enough effort in or not caring, we wouldn't have just kept 2 clean sheets.
The issues at the moment imo are belief, confidence and composure on the ball, and creativity in the final third.

I`d like to think you are right Tommy, but I think I see a couple of players who for what ever reason look a little dissinterested and are having second thoughts about comming here (North South divide and all that) its just my observation however, and it may change

Still unsure about the whole Pond at CB/Midfield thing and where he would be prepared to play but maybe the management should ask him to try out the midfield berth for the remainder of his loan spell and get Miller back in. Pond's done well but the quicker we get a constant and settled side the better. If Miller can slot back in and play to his usual standard then we have no need for Pond, unless he's in the middle.

The work rate from some players (midfield) isn't 100% as pointed out when you lose the ball you either get it back or cover ground to block off other options, these are the basics of the game. Belief - I believe that if you want something and in a position to make it possible you'll make it happen, not wait for something to do it for you. Confidence - If you don't believe in yourself no one else will, determination is the key here, you know what you are capable of so do it, it's confidence in certain players that is the issue. Poor first touch, unable to trap a ball and holding on to the ball for far too long and getting it taken off them. Lack of creativity is from getting the ball out of defence right up to the lack of service to the front two. Several times players were pointing were they wanted the ball and more often than not it got lumped forward. There is a massive lack of support play and covering which leads to lack of options and eventually losing the ball as soon as we got it.
