Jevons goal at Anfield closely followed by Wilki`s goal at Everton, both goals were against top class international keepers

The goal versus Burneley in the Northern Final, I remember shouting shoot ( I guess nearly everyone did) and as soon as it left the boot we knew it was in, as a 16 year old knowing I had school in the morning, I couldn't wait to gloat I would be going to Wembley to see my team, my team I had seen from Old Division 4, my team who I took so much stick for supporting.

Other goals include Macca Versus Norwhich in the FA CUP 1998- A rare goal but his celebration showed what it meant

Burnetts Wembley goal

Several of Mendoncas goals.

Dobbin versus Newcastle

Bonetti versus West Brom

Thanoj against Wrexham

I will remeber a lot more later I am sure

Jevons at Liverpool definately, but I do remember Livvo once running from the halfway line cutting inside round a couple of players and banged it home. Dont remember the game but it was from in front of the main stand and into the pontoon goal.

I think Dave's original post might have been understood.

I assume he meant best individual goal, ie one player taking on a number of opponents before scoring rather than Forbes at Barnet, Wilkies at Everton or Thanoj's at Wrexham. which although all were brilliant goals could hardly be describe as "best individual goal".

Unless I've misunderstood Dave's question that is.

Am I allowed three?  Michael Leary's wonder goal at Barrow (a once in a lifetime experience).  I have fond memories of Nick Hegarty's goal in front of the Pontoon and his jubilation with Mighty Mariner afterwards.  And Shaleum Logan on his debut v Rochdale - and the series of back flips he performed afterwards, right under Alan Buckley's nose.

Oh and of course JP Kalala v Tottenham.  Loved that.

That's four actually.

P.S. Probably not 'individual' in the strictest sense of the word, although I think Shaleum Logan's might have been.

Exactly Les you described it just as I meant it to be.

Really what I mean is that from not having any chance of scoring the player has made a chance out of nothing whether he has taken the opposition on
himself to eventually maybe doing an overhead kick like Rooney did the other month for Man United

That is what I meant by YOUR FAVOURITE INDIVUEL GTFC GOAL.

Chima Okori's goal against Tranmere in what was I think the Autowindscreen's. Dreadful game which we lost 4-1 I think, but he must have beaten 6 players for his goal.

Remember coming away thinking he was going to become a Town legend. I was heartbroken when he broke his leg in a reserve game a short time afterwards and don't think he ever played for us again.
