At the end of the day they are worth it, if we knew we would be in a position to challenge for the play offs with them as of now,  JF would have gladley paid out 35 grand to secure their employment, whats done is done,  time to draw a line under it and move on UTM

Right so when it happens to us you'll be quite happy.

Getting a bit boring forza with your constant digs at the trust on virtually every thread.

But the Trust do deserve it. The Board for coming up with the share scheme and the members for voting for it.

It's a shame that this case wasn't held two weeks ago.

I don't think for one second that JF would have proceeded without legal advice but you might KNOW different. We do have 2 different versions of any proposed out of court settlement and who you believe is up to you. As I was told by my parents " there are three sides to every argument , yours , theirs and the truth, which usually lies in the middle".

So whose statement would you rely on most. The man who's claim was upheld by the court or the one who was caught out with a blatantly wrong defence?

Blimey, are we still going on about this. It's been dealt with by the courts and there is to be no appeal, so can we now draw a line under all this and move on.

Les Les Les. Still? The case was yesterday. It's hardly raking over pre-historic ground.

And it is entirely relevant for the future. If this had come out two weeks ago there would have been a very different outcome to that vote (surely?).

Does the Trust really want to do business with this man? Flipping heck, do the electors of Humberstone really want him as their representative?

Or is the win at all costs, shrug your shoulders when caught out, money wasting mentality really not bother you?

i'm fed up of those who see no wrong in fenty's reign constantly saying it's time to move on

fenty loses in court: let's move on
fenty pressures the trust into handing him £200k of shares: : let's move on
fenty puts the club millions into debt due to his own shocking financial mismanagement: let's move on
the only other man in recent times willing to put money into the club on fenty's watch leaves for reasons never fully explained: let's move on
town relegated from the league: let's move on
that day at tranmere: let's move on

the day we can move on is the day fenty leaves the club (and takes his loans with him) and that day cannot come soon enough

Totally with you Denby.

I know we are supposed to thank Fenty that we still have a club but incontrovertibly the man has overseen the worst period in the club's history. On the pitch, you can look at defeats against Bath, Chasetown & Salisbury, off it, well where do you start? This week's court case, the Newell bust-up, falling out with Slade, falling out with Radio Humberside, the pull out of the North Devon tournament and various PR disasters together with several poor appointments all add up to a litany of king-size fu(k-ups.

Yet because of the depth of his wallet and consequently the scale of the debt owed to him, he can still retain power.......
