The shadow of the findus does not allow the sun to defrost that side of the pitch.So with the forcast for no more than 1 or 2 degrees i think we'll have the afternoon off. Serious sport has nothing to do with fair play. It is bound up with hatred,jealousy,boastfullness, disregard of all rules and a sadistic pleasure in witnessing violence; In other words it is war without the shooting.

If the pitch was frozen before the snow fell yesterday, surely it will be staying frozen under the snow, especially as it is forecast to be a cool day before heading subzero again? I think it very unlikely that the game will be on.

Not sure about the call for a 7.00am start for clearing the pitch, however, as I expect it will still be below freezing until after 9.00am - they might clear it only to have it freeze solid afterwards!

If the club are confident it'll be on the grouns under the snow mustn't be to bad
