I have been at the ground today and the pitch is frozen rock hard in large areas. Need a significant thaw.

Couldn't we do what St Neots did last weekend to help enhance the chance of there game been on. Here's a video of what they did

With us expecting a big crowd it must be worth trying anything we can to get the game on, both financially and to keep the momentum going on the pitch. Im sure we can get some fans to help out and do it.  Looks like its working to thaw that pitch out too.

I swear Morecambe attempted this when we had them in the JPT and it failed?

I've seen the Leicester Tigers use over soil heating but that was basically big blowers lent to them by caterpillar blowing into sheeting (a bit like a non erected marquee)

With snow showers expected this evening, the club may need volunteers to help clear snow off the pitch tomorrow. Keep an eye on our Twitter, Facebook and official sites for updates. UTM,,just for the record its snowing in scunny at the moment!

It's snowing here in Cleethorpes! If it keeps on coming down at this rate, we'll have an inch or two by 2013.
