First game was in the 1955-56 season against Bradford (City I think) though it might have been Park Avenue



The reason I hate this thread,no matter how hard I try I can't remember my first game,I can remember our players but not who we played.

My first game was as a 5 year old a week after my birthday. It was February the 25th 1984, i can't remember much as i was too young, but we beat palace 1-0. ( how things have changed )

Anyone know who scored? I have the programme still......somewhere, and have just been scrabbling about in
th loft for the last hour trying to find it.

Town 3-2 Watford. First home game of 1992/93 season.

I remember going to a friendly game at BP against Gainsborough before that season started too, which i always remember because of the referee making Dave Gilbert take a free-kick 3 times (scoring the first 2 but missing the 3rd).

Same as myself and Green27 too. I remember I got a kids free voucher from school and begged my Dad to take me. All I remember from the game is some bald guy for them (Agnew?) and thinking that he must surely be too old to be playing football.

I've got a scrapbook from when I was younger and I've got a squad sheet from that match signed by Brian Laws
