Cheers Citymariner, just checked the facebook page out, seems its coming along well with plenty of support!

Didn't the club recently ask everyone to print out an advert of their own by leaving a link to a pdf document asking people to put it in the any place possible? Basically free publicity and gains much more awareness of what is going on!

Wouldn't it be possible to do the same sort of thing, surely the club would support that on the O.S. and could proivde a link to the advert as well as on here, G.O., C.A., GTST etc? Just a thought...

might be worth bringing up when lincolnsmariner has a meeting with the club

The club have already agreed to advertise ths event for us, we will be linking details of the club on the facebook group.
The facebook group is a basic group and to spread the word to more people has it has over 10million members.

The website http://www.biketothebank.co.uk will be the main source of info once it is live, which hopefully will be within 48 hours.

i've been in touch with gareth our webmaster

i ahve sent him the poster
some 'thefishy' images
links to google maps for the ride
links to the youtube 3d simulation of the ride
links to the facebook group
contact info
and... a cheeky mention of my name with the rest of the contributors.....

i have had a quick peeky at what he has done so far - it is MINT!!

Jon: regarding bag packing - in 6 hours with 10 people at mozzers in gainsborough, rasiing money for my bro to play cricket for the county in barbados (not exactly a charity case) £2000!!!!

Tellanoirmariner: i ahve sent the poster to the webmaster for the bike to the bank site so it will be downloadable from there. its in colour but if someone doesn't want to print it they can just click grayscale.

The facbook has over 70 members now since i set it up last night at about 7pm

One group managed to get 5k from doing it for 6 hours at mine, some local football team wanting to go on tour to italy.

We could get a large percentage from that, or even double the target?

well if we do it at the 2 stores then i think we'll achieve a massive amount, maybe if we asked the asda workers on here if they could ask their boss to let us do it there also. we could make a very nice sum of money
