I think this stupid arselicking detached from reality cow deserves a thread of her own

Tweet 1483121746744070149 will appear here...

I honestly will leave this town if she is elected here in the next election. A disgrace to this town and its people

Imagine sitting at home knowing you voted for this buffoon. She’s absolutely deluded. I’m all for showing support to people but as I said on Grimsby Live, it’s almost like she’s in some sick and twisted unrequited love relationship with Johnson.

She honestly believes this level of bottom licking will further her career but it won’t. She’s an irrelevant, irresponsible MP that serves no community except that inside her own garden gate.

It’s actually quite pathetic, like the girl at school besotted with the football team caption who hasn’t even acknowledged her…

She needs professional help. An absolutely useless politician who is a sycophantic and deluded fraud.

I'd imagine she will have voted for the new Elections Bill (I tend to doubt she's ever voted against the whip and will never do so unless there is a chance of furthering her own career). The question now, is whether the 10% of the electorate who don't have photo ID will be provided with a free option to obtain one before the next election? My guess is not, because they wouldn't want to accidentally re-enfranchise any of those they have just deliberately disenfranchised. Oddly enough, most of the people who don't have photo ID (young, the poor and urban minorities in cities) are unlikely to vote Conservative. What an amazing coincidence!

All this on the back of no evidence of more than a handful of cases of electoral fraud across the whole country.

Do I even need to check to discover whether she voted against the amendment outlawing political donations from foreign nationals? Nah, I doubt it.

I’ve seen two polls this week that suggest GtGy could stay blue or go red. You’d like to think people would be fed up of this useless representantive but we do have an above average amount of idiots in this Town.

Of course, she must be a massive town fan, having given b.j. all manner of town related merchandise.

But have we heard a single word from her on any football related issues?

Nope.

In a way I sort of respect the determination it requires to cling on to the carcass they were mis-sold. I mean by now they must know the utter contempt that the Tories hold them in and still they won’t break ranks. Doffing caps and tugging forelocks at Johnson, Rees-Mogg and their fellow Snake Oil salesmen.

A bit of positive news. I saw a photo of BJ running in St James Park looking like a tramp from the weekend and he was wearing a 30-year-old British Rail hat rather than embarrassing GTFC by wearing ours.

Surely she shouldn't be interfering with our football club as the club is actually in Martin Vickers constituency? It will raise serious concerns if she gets another term. I can't see Grimsby voting for anything other than the Conservative, Labour or whatever Nigel Farage creates so Labour need to make sure they have a good candidate ready for the fight.

At least you have the chance to change things in Grimsby and Clee.

In Louth, we’re lumbered with Atkins. Honestly, she makes my skin crawl, much like Nici. At least Vickers manages to talk to his constituents.

A pathetic individual

Comment from Twitter:

I'm a constituent of  @lia_nici
Working on a Covid ward, me & most  of my colleagues are disgusted at this behaviour.  Ask her if she's ever even been near her local hospital recently, an out of depth, talentless nonentity that hasn't benefited the town she represents. A Party shill.

Good summary tbh.

I guess the biggest thing for me is those poor souls who voted for her…she has lotwrelly done nothing for the town other than to pipe off Boris in the media.

Her love and adulation for the man is embarrassing and sickening. She’s a spineless individual, the antithesis of careerist politician. She brings absolutely nothing to the table, she’s irrelevant in her constituents and the community and she’s insignificant to her party.

Aside from this good awful Liz McDonald skirts and poorly matched scarves she has brought zilch…

Cretin of the highest order…

When you were only elected because the PM managed to con enough of your constituents with his lies you probably don’t have much other option but to go all in and pray that Boris survives and turns around public opinion.

If he does somehow manage to ride this out for the time being let’s see if she still backs Boris when the Tories get a mauling in the local elections in May.

The reality is without a popular Boris she loses, but as soon as she realises Boris is done for good she’ll go into self preservation mode & back which ever person she thinks will give her the best (albeit slim) chance of retaining her seat.

I think she’ll still be backing Boris no matter what happens in May, I’ve listened to her gushing about him and it seems to me that she’s totally infatuated with him.

If Boris goes then I totally agree with you, she will be like a desperate rat on a sinking ship looking for that bit of driftwood to jump on, and I’m looking forward to that day.

If you listened to the full story, you would know that he was supposed to be in town all day but couldn’t leave London till he knew the Sue Gray report wasn’t being published. He therefore had to cancel his morning appointments on the docks.

I’m not naturally a Labour voter but would rather see the likes of Starmer, Nandy and Mel Onn in power than the current Tory cabal.

Starmer would of had us in permanent lockdown akin to the nutter’s in charge of New Zealand/Australia, Nandy is the better of the three she talks a good fight. As for Onn she was a likeable MP for the Town more for her looks some would say but politically is she any better than Nici? Or was she also about self preservation? You only have to look how she ganged up on Corbyn with a vote of no confidence as a leader! but then went on to join his cabinet total hypocrite. I do believe if she was to make a comeback though she would get the majority Grimsby vote.

She is obviously a Boris stooge. Boris so desperate now he is looking at the type of false information usually spread by the likes of vaccine deniers, flat earther etc. in an attempt to deflect from his own dire situation. Not even Raab would be back him on this one.

Are we witnessing the dying thows of an exiting Prime Minister?

You can tell that Lynton Crosby is reportedly coming back into the fold. Dead-catting like mad at the moment and they really don't give a excrement how pathetic it makes them look. Imagine having so little respect for yourself (or your constituents, for that matter) that you parrot and then disingenuously defend such obvious lies?

Those who are silent in the face of this nonsense (such as Vickers) are just as complicit. At least a handful of Tory MPs are willing to come out in public and face this stuff down, but they are few in number.

Vickers and Nici are irrelevant, ineffective and have such a contempt for their constituents it’s disgusting.

One the one hand you’ve got Nici who is infatuated with Boris, has zero spine or zero opinion, gross levels of support for a man that everyone can see is clearly out of his depth. Then, on the flip side you have Vickers, a silent, invisible careerist that again, simply doesn’t represent his constituents and literally tows the party line at every opportunity…even voting for things which diametrically oppose elements of his own life…

It makes you despair that local folk simply didn’t put the effort in to figure out that these two are clueless and pointless. Even a Tory voter would be lying if they said Nici and Vickers were any good.

Careerist wastes of oxygen I’m afraid. More embarrassingly, I am of the belief that in Nick’s case, she does genuinely believe what she says, Vickers just says whatever because he hasn’t a mind of his own…

It's an interesting one with Vickers. He's 71 years old and at the tail end of his career; now is a perfect time for him to have an outspoken opinion. Since 1980, he's spent all but 5 years (1994-1999) as a councillor or an MP. Before becoming an MP in 2011, he was working full time for Edward Leigh.

Lia is so infatuated with Boris to the point where she probably needs a restraining order against him. The latest diatribe is a disgrace and it seems that whatever nonsense comes out of Boris' mouth, you can bet she's had a made up conversation in Grimsby about the same thing.

What next? She was probably on the doorsteps of Grimsby being told this is “perhaps the biggest demonstration of hostility to Ukraine in our lifetimes." She's so unfit for office it's unreal yet why do I have this niggling fear she will get another 5 years?

Sidenote - Boris has backtracked on his Saville remarks. I'm sure Lia has had conversations in Grimsby with constituents saying Boris went a step too far with those comments...

If I were Sir Keir Starmer DPP, I would have simply prosecuted the renowned and notorious paedophile and necrophiliac Sir Jimmy Savile. I would also not have Peter Mandelson, heavily linked to the convicted child sex trafficker Jeffrey Epstein, as part of my close team.

Says everything when she avoids even addressing an issue.
Disgrace,

So far, five MPs, not including Lia Nici, have written to Actavo and British Steel in attempts to resolve the issue.

Shows how weak is he should never of backtracked, Starmer is on record apologising for the CPS he was the man in charge so the buck must stop with him. Sooner the party gets rid of this climate warrior and gets a real Conservative in charge the better.

Hopefully it has sealed her fate with the people of Grimsby.

I guess hanging upside down from cave roofs, bats are used to getting shyt on their mouths.

Through the door there came familiar laughter,
I saw your face and heard you call my name.
Oh my friend we're older but no wiser,
For in our hearts the dreams are still the same.

‘Great Grimsby MP, Lia Nici, says her new role as Parliamentary Private Secretary will not hinder how she represents her constituents….

‘… [Being PPS to the Prime Minister] will not affect my ability at all to represent Grimsby and my constituents. I will continue to deal with the constituency!’

This woman is comedy gold! I’m not sure how or if she keeps a straight face when she spews out this nonsense.
Though she’s right in this instance because it won’t impact on her ability to be Grimsby MP as aside from being more elusive than the Scarlet Pimpernel and as well hidden as Lord Lucan, she does the grand total of feck all!!!
