Not at Grimsby. It makes you wonder who confirmed it to JT - I guess it'll be someone at the club (it has to be, really, otherwise it's still speculation) and if that's the case, why hasn't it been announced by them? They've got a website, a Twitter feed, a Facebook page, a YouTube channel... you'd think they'd have had some communications lined up, given that they've been much closer to the 'action' than anyone else. At least we have been spared the "let's give him another 5/10/15 games" scenario later in the season which to me looked fairly inevitable with half this forum seemingly content with mid-table status for the 2016/17.
