True, but it's like an Istanbul derby compared to the Ricoh.

Far and away the worst away day and atmosphere I've ever experienced at a Championship game.

This coming from someone who's been to Reading.

I can remember being at Upton Park watching Brian Laws score in a 1-1 FACup tie(how the hell we drew I don't know) and then thrashing them 3-0 in the replay.

One of the last times we played them at home was in the Buckley era,

Over 17,000 at the park saw us lose 5-1 ,

BUT

In the prevous 17 home games we had conceded only 4 goals,

Funny old game football.
