I think they should make 68 pages of the programme adverts and put the price up to £10.

Each player should also have Young's tattooed on their forehead.

Stop appointing managers and then sacking them stop giving no mark players 2year deals when no one else would give them a week to week deal.

so we are losing a million quid each season. how do we cut that gap?

every red card we get fine that player 2 weeks wages that shall save a couple of thousand per red card. in the programme there is 28 pages of advertising we could make it 35 pages of advertising. put up the cost of hireing an advertising board. make the turnstile operators voluntary. i know that wont save a million quid per season but it is a start. who agrees and disagress? can you think of anymore or better ideas?

Let's say we have five red cards a year - that's 10 grand.

Let's say we print more pages in a programme (which costs more anyway) and get more advertising (which will cost more in terms of sales staff) that will make about £500 per home game that's 12 grand.

Aaron, go back to nursery and post something sensible when you've given it some thought.

No, the lad has a point. We need to generate more revenue so lets put up ticket prices to £300 a go, replace the programme with a copy of Dalton's Weekly and charge £50 for it, leave the catering at present prices but introduce a minimum purchase of £100 and cut the wages to £5 a week.

What could go wrong?

Mr McGee, don't make me angry. You wouldn't like me when I'm angry.

Thats the problem, we are paying out too much money to people who no longer work for the club.

In a season or two we should be able to break even.

Why would anyone volunteer to do that?! From 1.30 - 3.30 and you'd miss the first half of the match.

Costs will definitely have to come down next summer if we're still a conference club (which is looking pretty certain now). Sadly I think the youth setup will go and the playing budget will probably be brought down to around the £400,000 - £500,000 mark.  There will probably be a root and branch look at all posts at the club to see if people like Croudson and Rodger are necessary.

Also, with gates of below 3,000 do we really need a 9,000 seater ground? They could close the main stand which would of course mean employing less stewards and turnstile people.

I can see this, yes. Also, do we need to open Osmond for a lot of home games?
