If you didn't want to play the game Mr Tilson, why didn't you ask you players to 'sodomist' up the penalties against Scunthorpe?

Dont be daft, we play Forest saturday followed by Boston the next saturday one week before the season starter.  Why risk players getting knocks or suspensions when we have enough games to get fit for with all the frendlies anyway?  Wouldnt be surprised to see both teams play the kids.  At least its better we know now than thinking it will be a first team game.


£5 penalty for the side which finishes the lowest out of Lincoln or Grimsby in the BSP this season
£5 penalty paid by the other for the side that has the highest league scorer out of Lincoln and Grimsby
£5 penalty for which side gets the most points over the other covering both league games.

Bet between Impish and Mariner91, loser has to pay cheque to kids wards at Diana POW or Lincoln County Hospital.

But Tilson knew he was playing these games beforehand.

If he is worried about injuries, why didnt he tell his players to lose the penalty shoot out? Would make sense if he was serious.

Think its a case of he doesnt really want to play us before the season.

Yeah your right, he wouldnt be worried about playing an ex championship team but would be crapping his pants at playing another BSP side!

Not my point.

tilson does not want to play us, as he does not want to play his team and give us and other teams watching how they play against another BSP team and and give us help on how he sets his team out..

plus once we have beaten them that gives us the psychological advantage when we play them in the double header..

he has bottled it without the season even starting..shocking

Could be a bit of gamesmanship from Tilson, but any managers can watch any of our frendlies!  You are all reading far too much into it.  We played Scunthorpe as one of the friendlies, didnt know we would be playing another so why risk any extra injuries before the season starts?  

I agree though that the two games over xmas will be a tad more important.
