Found it interesting ,somebody ranked the leagues on average attendances this season from Premiership to National league .

Our position was 2nd in league 2

It got me thinking
Is that about our par position based on home fanbase ?
We cant really average any higher at BP with home fans than we are now ,given ST sales/ no shows .

Interesting that Mansfield declare tickets sold not actually attendances. One of their fans said this when I queried the “attendance” of 7569 the other night on the League 2 forum. I wonder how many other clubs do that? MK Dons probably do - their home stands look devoid of all forms of life for most games. Donny always looks pretty empty for their consistent 5.7 - 6k declared home fans.

To get accurate attendance figures for the Mansfield game I phoned them the morning after the match. Nobody knew. Later in the day, I found this which I used for the prediction league.:-

The one frustrating away gate figure I could not get was from the Brighton game.

At least I am not the only one who's interested in attendances lol.

Whatever that away stand holds at Mansfield we filled it,
apart from a small section to the left which only must have been a hundred or 2 .

Just hope they return the favour in a few weeks at BP .

I think a few clubs do this now, Arsenal certainly used to not sure if they still do though.

Declaring both would be interesting for us and show the rate of STH non attendance and also perhaps how few seats are available for people to buy by kickoff.

Our numbers are probably inaccurate anyway, been let through quite a few times this season when the scanner doesn't work first time,  the turnstile operatives look so fed up with it at times.
Whether that would indicate me just as a no show against my ticket but counts a click on the turnstile so part of crowd...  or a ghost in the attendance I don't know but it certainly won't be accurate.

Did you manage to get Southampton mate? Can we just take 4621 as the total for Brighton? Did anyone see any empty seat?!
