Tempted to spray paint a banner saying “just flipping throw yourselves at it” for outside Cheapside/BP on Friday morning when the players coach leaves.

Its gotta be done. Thatll make it to the local media and around the world on Twatter and FB. Just asterick the 'u' to make it family friendly and away we go. It'll be a boost for the players too.

Like 'Frankie says' on the 80's t-shirts, top the banner with 'The Fishy Forum says'

I think he's done a decent job when coming on as a sub. Not sure I'd want him starting too many important games, but certainly worth a 1 year deal as a player to offer something different off the bench.

The main thing, regardless of who is playing up front, is to get better balls into the box for them.

Whichever division we're playing in next season, it will be interesting to see who comes in and who leaves.

I asked my Nigerian colleague who said "deee - se - ruve".

However, he says it differently ("dee-es-or-ay"):

He's in the form of his career.

In total he'd only ever scored 17 League goals (31 if you include Cup goals) in his career which has been going on for 10 years. He began his career in 2012, and didn't score his first competitive goal until 2016.

2012-15: Sheffield Wednesday (0 apps, 0 goals)
2013: Hyde (loan) (7 apps, 0 goals)
2013: Fleetwood Town (loan) (4 apps, 0 goals)
2015: Chesterfield (loan) ) (1 app, 0 goals)
2015-16: Chesterfield (25 apps, 0 goals)
2016: Mansfield Town (loan) (10 apps, 1 goal)
2016-17: Kidderminster Harriers (29 apps, 4 goals)
2017: Boston United (loan) (7 apps, 1 goal)
2017-19: Salford City (80 apps, 9 goals)
2018: Chester (loan) (7 apps, 2 goals)
2020: Oldham Athletic (loan) (4 apps, 0 goals)
2021-22: Tranmere Rovers (6 apps, 0 goals)
2022 Grimsby Town (14 apps, 6 goals)

Looks like he's just getting the hang of things...

'I walked in the dressing room. The window was open and I thought that a sea fret had got in. Then I saw smoke billowing from a pipe in the corner of the room...it was my centre-forward. He looked seven stone wet through. He went on to score thirty-odd goals that season.' Lawrie McMenemy on encountering the legend that was Matt Tees.

He's done the rounds but came good for us. I think he deseres a 1 year deal with an option for asecond year depending how well he does. Of course he might not be upto league 2 standard when we get promoted but still worth a contract.
