I have a very good mate who is a season ticket holder at Stockport - he texted me last night during the game saying that he (and other Stockport fans) think McAtee is quality.

That may not be good news longer term......

Hurst came across very well in the post match interview as well. As one of his detractors, I must admit he’s done a very good job this season.

Well done sir. There are many on here who would not be big enough to admit that.

I think Dave may have a busy couple of days getting everyone recovered and ready for Saturday.

I know he gets tagged with being dour but I much prefer Hurst’s approach to touch line behaviour and interviews rather than the likes of Woodman etc..

I did smile when he got the dig in about ticket allocations on the post match interview last night.

Hurst has good relative experience and I think we’ve seen that and long may it continue.

To be fair, on the few occasions I got cramp in a game, I was hobbling around like that afterwards. That said, I wasn't close to being as fit as the least fit professional footballer!

Looked to me more like a muscle tweak than cramp and the same goes for Holohan.

Does that mean they would not be fit for Saturday?

I think you are asking the wrong person for that answer.

I'd be recovered from cramp the next day. But yes, I'm not the person to be asking.

I hope it was just cramp for the two of them, of course.

So a muscle tweak is more serious then?

Don't forget the stop / start nature of chasing down opponents with muscles that have been trained and  developed for certain playing functions.

Bit like topranked racehorses going lame, really !

Big example is Max Wright's known problems. If he stayed fit,  then his pace and vigour would be invaluable.

McAtee runs non stop, so he is the next one who would need to be careful of pulls/tweaks.

Hurst will have to shuffle his cards again for Saturday - who would want his job?

Let's hope the lads recover with no Saturday repercussions!

At least I can watch this one !!

Yeah, certainly. Cramp should settle down after a few hours and the right food/drink intake. Strange that Carling and pork scratchings never helped me much though.

Start of the season Mcatee was being subbed every game due to the cramping issue.  Like PH said in the interview they thought they had dealt with it.
