So if Coolsilk default on the mortgage then they could be forced to either sell off Glanford Park or pay off the mortgage.

If I was a scunny fan I'd be very worried. If they could find a buyer, not only would they have to buy back Glanford Park but then have to pay off this loan.

Another nail in their coffin me thinks.

I know Scunthorpe are our rivals, but if the unthinkable happens and they lose the use of Glanford Park I hope nobody will object to them becoming tenants in NE Lincolnshire temporarily. I’m sure Cleethorpes Town would put them up.

Not necessarily. The beneficiary of the charge whose name is shown on the screenshot but not highlighted in red is a newish company controlled b a small firm of accountants. Possibly a piece of in-house financial engineering or tax planing.

Me too and I wouldn't be too confident that Oldham will be playing National League football next year either.
