Scannell injured yet again today, there's definitely a player in there but......

When Leeds trainer Les Cocker was once told Norman Hunter had broken a leg, he asked: “Whose is it?”

I’m sure he didn’t plan to rupture his Achilles 😢

Pity about the injury, hes just one of those players like Wright that always pick up injuries just by playing, can't fault his application but like Max, can't afford to keep him on next season if he hardly plays.

A ruptured Achilles is 9 to 12 months. An absolute disaster for the lad. A bit of compassion wouldn’t go amiss.

Knew it was bad when he came off and then the club doctor going down and then talking to Dave Moore confirmed it was a bad one.

Suspect we won't see him again. As an out of contract winger, there can't be a worse time to succumb to an injury like that.

Efete in a plastic boot today as well. I've been critical of Scannell over the last couple of years but I'm absolutely gutted for the lad, he's really made an impression the last couple of months and had a great opening 10 minutes today.

In his post match Hurst said “that’s him finished” I hope he meant for the season and not at the club.

He looked different class before the injury. Real shame but it makes any decision about a new contract redundant sadly. Really felt for him.
