If they reimburse you what you paid for it, then fail to sell they are out of pocket. If they 'buy' it back from you for £5 then fail to sell, they've still got the original £22 less the £5, giving them £17.

It doesn't matter.  I'm (touch wood) going to the game tomorrow.  Best of luck to anyone who can't go and wants to claim a fiver back in their pocket, equally so great news for anyone who thought they were going to miss out and are now able to go as a result. They have a waiting list so they know there's a re-sell market waiting for them. I guess that's why they can afford to reimburse the full amount (that, and being stupidly rich from the money they get in the PL). Nice idea by the club, driven by a good purpose — but it's not immune from feedback (like everything else). Think that's what we're all agreeing on.
