But there are good examples to learn from all over the country.

To be honest I quite liked it when we paid actual money for Adi Yusuff, Chris Clements, Jamey Osborne, Akwasi Asante and Sam Jones and then apparently couldn’t get rid of them for free fast enough. There’s so much wrong with that last sentence I don’t even know where to begin.


The strange thing about this is.

Clements recently won the League 2 title
Osborne & Jones would walk into our team - (The Jones that played for us, as it's not gone well since)

I do wonder what happend between Fenty and Asante, the guys been pretty prolific at around this level since leaving us.
The club was a madhouse so no doubt he said something not too nice to the powers that be.

Asante, or someone very close to him, used to post regularly on here with all the news. Think the main problem was injury, then couldn’t get into the team. Can’t remember the username though, ghost something, or something along those lines.

A certain someone wanted the wage bill slashing and Slade duly obliged.

I remember referring to it at the time as the night of the long knives, which resulted in me getting a PM from that certain someone putting me straight.
