I was told on Monday that this was likely to happen. So saying Shutes pulled out on Thursday is prompt quite correct!

Complete rubbish

John Fenty does not require any paid employment at a football club and has no desire to stay on post sale

He’s looking forward to a well earned break, and spending more time with his family

For once I agree with you
John Fenty GTFC and the others in the consortium where all shocked by the email Wed night by all accounts as no one saw that coming. John has no intention or desire to stay on with the club after the sale or hold any shares in the club as rumours suggest.

If that's correct, then (assuming a deal can be done) it's very good news indeed, as it's difficult to see how someone who's ruled over all things GTFC for nearly two decades could ever work with new owners. Least of all someone who appears to have great difficulty in working with anyone on a Peer to Peer basis.

I cannot see fenty doing anything to rock the boat on this deal.
It was the deal of the century for him and now it’s gone.

I look forward to seeing the handover of 200,000 shares back to the trust, and I cant wait to read fentys statement withdrawing totally from any activity at GTFC
But I'm not holding my breath, and I think Filipe, as usual, is bullshittting and trying to muddy the waters
