Come on, hands up all you who pleasured yourselves over your keyboard when he was appointed.

I don’t admit being amazed and chuffed that he was appointed. I still would’ve backed him a few weeks prior to his ‘resignation’! Sh1te player recruitment, getting rid of your well respected assistant manager, cuddling up to fraudsters : doesn’t play well does it

I think that might be taking it a bit too far, but I was absolutely over the moon. Weren't you?

A high profile manager who managed  Blackpool in the Premier League, and had other high profile jobs. Good contacts, and a great opportunity for publicity. We were all, very nearly all, absolutely thrilled. I could not go, but werent we all thrilled at Mansfield, Scunthorpe and Bradford before covid struck?

It turned out not so good. That's life.

I wasn't over the moon, yep he was a high profile manager and got the media talking about GTFC but that doesn't win you games.

I don't care who comes in as manager, I don't go around saying he will do this or that I sit back and see what the team does and in the end it all went mammaries up.

I really don't get why some expect miracles from managers or players when they come here because recent history shows as I said' it usually goes mammaries up, in the same way that many have got the tissues out at the return of Paul Hurst and proudly proclaiming he will keep us up, let's see.

Well, I didn't go that far, but I admit I was pleased. Just like i was pleased when Newell was appointed. Was badly wrong there too.  I believed the hype.

I was also pleased when Hurst was appointed. Hope I am right on that one.

As for Hollow Words. Couldn't give a intercourse what show he is on.

The only place I would want to see him is Tartaurus.

Having managed us, you could argue that he's already been there

Miss Scunthorpe. Not a beauty pageant, just sound advice.
