I care. I’m keen to know what his true motivation was for joining the club, what he stood to gain financially from the deal involving convicted fraudster Alex May and why he left within days of that story breaking and such a deal no longer being viable.

I suspect it will be an extremely frustrating watch as he vomits up a lot of words that mean very little.

I admire your optimism and I’d be inclined to agree but quite frankly, from the moment the bloke arrived he was full of excrement so I don’t imagine we’ll get anything like an honest answer...

Not from the man himself, you won’t. However it is something I’d love to be properly investigated and outed accordingly, if of course there is a different narrative to the official party line to be discovered.

Which one? They're both tools. Ironically, the football manager is funnier than the stand up comedian.

Of course Holloway will spin it. If we were sat in the playoffs, he'd still be here. He knew he'd put together a poor team and got out with a reason, that I'm sure was partly true, to maintain his reputation. If we were flying high then he would probably have stayed.

His Matchday punditry is awful. What I can’t understand is why the club pays someone like him to do the commentary. Someone who spends most of his time criticising the club owners. Surely there must be people out there with some football knowledge they can find.

I don't find Lloyd funny at all and he really is a pub comedian but he is a Grimsby fan like we all are, and he has been very critical of Fenty and co recently and he helped uncover the Alex May fiasco so that we need to be grateful for.

He is full of it...but its all about him (imo).

How many managers have 2 promotions to the Premier League under their belt? He certainly has walked the walk. This season was obviously a shambles, but that doesn't mean he hasn't had success. And I agree with him that without covid, we'd have been competitive. Last season we were hugely better once he came in and every player he signed improved the team.

I’ve seen Lloyd on tour, was actually quite good. He also stayed behind and had a beer with many of the audience.  He also used his position to be very vocal about JSF.so I’d say he’s one of us.

Without the clubs draconian reaction to covid, we would have been competitive. Same scenario for everyone, but other sides didn't immediately get rid of their best players to cut costs to the bone.

Some people find Mrs Browns Boys funny though so for each Lloyd Griffithses there’s a Michael MacKintyre who is about as funny as pubic lice.

Unfortunately more often than not, the blood seems to have a bitter taste.

Not watched Soccer AM in years. It's like some sort of mass LADS in crisis circle jerk. I doubt Holloway will be exposing the dark truth of Town Centre Living LTD on there, you'll have to wait  for the Panorama episode.

He needs to stick to media. He's just a showman. The sort who has clever words and no substance. Like an actor who was briefly famous once but now doing voice over commercials.

I met him on the train to Bognor trophy game and he was a really down to earth bloke so he ok for me .

I dont get the bile aimed at Holloway to be honest, glad he has gone. His plans went awry for various reasons so he resigned. His excuse is neither here nor there. Lets hopefully move forward and put this chapter behind us.

I agree. Comparing how he looked when he first joined us to when he left, he looked ill. Remember it's still only recently that he lost his best mate. He could be suffering with depression

And lost his best mate in such an awful way, that has to affect even the strongest of us!! Add to that trying to sell a house down in Bristol, buy one up here, then the lock down, not being able to see family etc etc I just think some people need to cut the guy some slack

If he cut out the BS and possible lies, and just concentrated on the truth, people might have some time for him. Woodsy is still held in great affection despite being a failure here as a manager. But then he didn't BS, blow smoke up people's arses, make implausible excuses, renege on commitments and then leave the club in the lurch.
