The clip shows the referee looking straight at Tharme as he's fouled. Amazing that this sort of thing can be missed.

For what it's worth Town have to report that. We've become innocent victims in a spat between 2 weak and inept officials.
From the commentary, it seems.... Lino gives a foul 1st half, ref overrules him, lino gets upset and refuses to shake refs hand at half time, just shakes his head at him??
Lino seemingly puts ref on the spot 2nd half and is the only person to see a handball, ref is worried he might get another shake of the the head at FT so takes 3 minutes to decide that linos one-man show of evidence is correct.
Never seen anything like that in 40 years.

It's not even a handball. He heads it down and it hits his hand in a natural position. The linesman should be put in stocks in the center circle before the MK D*ns game and fans can auction for the chance to throw rotting fish guts at him. Had his ego bruised in the first half by the ref (correctly) overruling his decision so wanted to get his own back on him. Laughably the ref even had to give an offside that the lino missed after the penalty when the player was a full 10 yards offside. A complete joke of an official who should never officiate in the professional game again.

Absolutely. Handball after the mugging by no 9 is irrelevant
Ref was in clear sight of it and should be sacked

Awful pitch and awful game. Obikwu probably mad that he fluffed his easier chance dives on the next chance which was actually a far harder one to score from. We're winning at least but it's a rough game to watch. Got Sutton commentary as well, I thought our commentators were depressed, they make Tondeur and Croft seem super positive in comparison!

Awful match officials = league 2 football get their officials from Poundland!!!

Honestly, if I was watching that incident in a game between 2 teams I didn'r care about I would expect the whistle to go and the ref just tell the attacking team to behave, there are 3 players just blocking our defenders, one is pushing the defender into Cartwright who had no chance of even joining in the footballing fun going on.
Gav also seems to have his arms down, ball is smacked at him, he has no real chance of getting to the ball cleanly due to the wrestling match going on next to him. And the throw to the floor....shocking.

Should have finished the game off for sure  but we came close, hit the woodwork and all in all I thought we played ok on a sandpit with two strips of grassdown each side.

https://www.skysports.com/foot.....eague-two-highlights

From those highlights it looks to me that both players have their arms round each other therefore both were committing a foul just that one was stronger than the other. You see far too much of this sort of thing at free kicks and corners and refs should have clamped down on it long ago.

Tharme was thrown down onto his back with the player using his leg as a lever. It's not flipping martial arts, you know.

Feel for the players to be honest after a big game last week 2 bonkers trips to Greater London to clubs 5 miles away from each other they gave what they had & did their best, it’s worth noting players don’t miss chances on purpose.

Also some are having a go at Artell for not changing it earlier, maybe but what could have really done to make a difference when you look at the bench?

So who was the biggest 🔔🔚 today the ref or the Lino? The ref wins that particular accolade for sure, undermined his assistant in the first half putting the assistant under pressure to prove his worth at some point, which he did in spades.

I think it’s pointless looking at the vagaries of the handball but it was an outrageous foul on Tharme before that and should have been a free kick to Town.

Problem we have is that until the kids & lads who ref on the parks get more protection & support we’ll see poor officials in the professional game as there is not enough refs coming up which means some really sh1t ones get their season of fame in the pro game.

I’m sure on the bus tonight/training Monday there will be loads of Shaun Pearson “we go again” style chat, if the staff use this wisely it just might galvanise us.

Relegation is still a reality but out of the bottom 4 we’re in a good place and there’s much more to be positive about.

UTM!!
