This is in itself an appalling outcome.

I think DA was lucky at the time it wasn’t widely criticised. A pretty ballsy or now stupidly arrogant comment to make in his first interview. Got to say it was the one comment that instantly made me prickle and think just who do you think you are saying that about OUR club ?! I’m sort of glad he’s failed because of it , but given the perilous position we’re in that’s a bit trite on my behalf , so don’t want to sink to his level. Total tw.at of a guy . Sorry DA ,, you’re worse than MEH !

He’s not wrong though, the football was absolute garbage and everyone said as much. His only problem has been putting out something about a million times worse, and being extremely unlikeable.

Well yeah ,,, I know 🤣 but to say it in his first interview doesn’t exactly endear him to the fan base and pretty much meant he had to succeed. Unfortunately for him he’s managed to become the worst manager in the club’s history ?!

I think he got away with it on the grounds that he was correct. Of course, what's worse than being "meh" is being an absolute disaster zone, which is what we have become under Artell.

There's nothing wrong with arrogance, provided you've got the chops to back it up. We are finding out the hard way that he hasn't.
