He has spoken in previous interviews about some of the players' decision making. Maybe most of them are simply not smart enough to know when to try and play out and when not to.
But should professional players really need to be told this stuff? Like they need to be told to mark forwards in our box, to track back when they lose the ball, and many other basics of the game?
How about his own decision making? Or is that infallible. Don’t think so listening to his waffling bollo.cks

I think we need to be realistic. Very few of us expected us to get anything at all from this game. Stockport are at the top for a reason, but we shouldn't be helping them with kamikaze tactics, goalkeeping and defending should we. We are very, very lucky that the teams below us keep losing. So let's try to cling on to that. Tuesday is a must win now without doubt

Realistically, conceding 14 goals in 3 home games is completely unacceptable at any level and unforgivable

I never thought I’d say this but after 40 years I’m about done.
I know exactly how you feel. After a 'golden period' from 1980 to 2001 its so depressing to have to have endure season after season of dross. Yes, the two play off final victories were great, but we are talking about the non league after all. I honestly don't think I will see us back in the Championship in my lifetime and I am at an age now where I tire of this constant disappointment.

Two decades now of turgid dross can't even manage to be competitive at the very bottom end of the league structure. Just can't get my head around how much money is wasted season after season. A million for Bennett. 150k for Connell A million pounds for Bogle. Half a million for Dembele. 250k for Pollock Grist McAtee FA cup 5th round Double record season ticket sales Conteh We've had plenty football fortune to be able to sting something competent together at least one in two decades, but no season after season ofvutter dross. How like, how?

Dreadful really
16 goals conceded at home with 1 point from 4 games since NY is hardly going to impress anyone .
Still getting more and more worried , looks like a weak minded relegation fodder type side the more I see , we know we have seen plenty .

Same Ron , seems a long time ago those great years . Didn't appreciate how good it was at the time . I just thought this time we might actually move forward for a more consistent period of time , but it seems like we are reverting to type again of league 2 strugglers at best.

I've given it until this morning to calm down..we were again completely out thought by a manager with less league experience than our own... I felt for Danny Rose, he plays with so much passion but he's gets less service than a clapped out ford escort.... Artell got it wrong, again, and I'm also at the point where Shaun P & Ben Davis have to hold to account too, they have been part n parcel off this shitshow this season, but after thinking Artell was a great appointment I'm of thinking he's a salesman who could sell a freezer to an Eskimo but not show him how to work it!

I'm the same Ron. First game 1979 and instantly hooked. I seem to be just seeing out this season. I've missed quite a few games by being abroad on holiday, working in preference to going on one occasion and doing some Brentford games instead where there is a home fixture clash. I'm also at an age where I doubt I'll ever see the really good times with Town again. Constant disappointment is the right expression. I don't get excited by new signings and appointments because they invariably underwhelm. I really do fear the worst. I listened to the manager's post-match comments with an open mind on the way home but found them worrisome.

I get it that Shaun and Ben are patr of the management team. But they will be getting told by Artell what he wants them to do. That does not mean they agree with him . And like most employees they either do as they are asked or shown the door same as players do if they dont / cant do what is asked
