Part of the team that created some of the most famous moments that everybody remembers with the Wembley double and followed that up with arguably his best season in a town shirt before an unfortunate pre season injury slowed down his career. One of those players nobody will forget.

One of those players nobody will forget. Very well put. He was such a quality, dependable player. He was one of a small number of players who defined our team through the 90s. Even after he left, it was good to see him do well, captaining Stoke to promotion. RIP
