Sometimes it just takes one player to transform a poor-looking defence - probably an 'old head' who can organise the others. Are you old enough to remember "Biffo" Barker? No pace, not strong in the air or on the ground - but he organised the defenders around him in such a way that he just leisurely moved around to snuff out attacking threats. We've had a few since too.
