I wouldn’t give that much !

Can you imagine, though? A return to NL must be incomprehensible to him.

Unfortunately we know the threat is real, but thankfully we’re all a little more confident after tonight.  Wish I’d been there. Safe travails to the town fans.

The bottom 3 teams lost and had a straight red and a red ( for 2 yellow cards) between them.

If Carlsberg did away wins and other games on the same night at the end of the Year! 😇😇😇

Delighted for the Team and manager.

Dominated the game and controlled it very professionally. Salford were truly woeful and were never in it. That said you can only beat what is infront of you and certainly an away win, a clean sheet and being 10 points clear is just the tonic we needed to end the year on

Brilliant result especially given the fact that we were missing several players with injury.

It good to see that points gap to the drop zone growing. The other thing that stands out for me looking at the table is the goal diff column. Ours is -4, which is on a par with several of the clubs above us, but the bottom five all have double digit negative differences, some pretty large, which shows that they often get thumped in a way that we don't. Many of our losses have been by a single goal.

The next game will be interesting because Walsall beat Wrexham 3-1 tonight and are bang in form having won four of their last five matches.
