Yeah he played 30 games in The Champ last season though and they did not want him to go a lot of Rotherham fans ,so he should be decent at league 2 you would have thought . Is there still sny chance of Bennett ?

Quality or quantity?

Richard Wood who was regularly playing in the Championship for Rotherham last year and Jamie Sterry who is probably one of the best/better full backs in League 2. I'd say that's 2 quality signings out of 2 so far for Doncaster.

Agree on Donny's early business, looks very good. Sterry has injury problems but I'd have still had him here. Wood should be quality. Worth pointing out that Darren Pratley just captained Orient to the title and Peter Clarke was in the team of the year in 21/22, both aged 38 at the time.

I expect a transfer or contract renewal this week for sure .

Suspect we have already done a couple of transfers ,just staggering the announcement .

Would be very suprised if Naylor would drop down to League 2 , they liked him at Pompey he was decent there tbf and has played higher up most of the time while still being at a decent age ,if not on the young side .

Mansfield Town have signed Baily Cargill (LB/CB) on a two-year deal after he was released by Forest Green Rovers. The 27-year-old left footed centre-back, who can also play at full-back has two promotions from League Two on his CV; the most recent from his time at Forest Green were crowned champions in May 2022. Baily’s other fourth tier promotion was with MK Dons in 2019, finishing third in his first season.

MK Dons have agreed a deal to re-sign midfielder Alex Gilbey (MF) The 28-year-old box to box midfielder will officially become new boss Graham Alexander's first signing when his contract with Charlton Athletic expires at the end of June. He totalled 105 club appearances for MK Dons between 2017 and 2020 and was a key member of the Dons side that won promotion from League Two in the 2018/19 season. Gilbey has since gone on to play a further 111 games for Charlton Athletic and Stevenage, while on loan all season season, achieving a second promotion from League Two.

I thought he was o.k. when we had him on loan. Looked like he could have been a bit fitter (not his fault) but had a bit of quality.

Right back for a bit under Holloway, either was injured before arriving or had no game time so looked like he was struggling for fitness at first, had a decent touch though.
