We need to sign that proven goalscorer /  striker early,

If we can do that I can see a rush for the tickets.

If we get him late or last minute there might be a late push for them.

If we don't get him at all then sales will be very disappointing .

I hope Hursty has 3 or 4 names on his wanted list and he gets No. 1 or. 2 .

Or even both

Ouch an extra £25 on kids season tickets in the upper. Seems a bit excessive to have a 25% increase.

I'm sure he will have at least 3 or 4 names on his wanted list. Whether he gets them or not is a completely different matter though.

They do say about a pound a game is the increase .

BUT

That you would have thought was for adults 25% seems a bit harsh for the juniors.

If you want to pay in instalments you have to have renewed before the end of May, with £151.67 due end of May, followed by £131.67 in June, £131.66 in July (for an adult ticket in the Upper)

Failure to make full payment before the end of July = Cancelled season ticket and a refund minus 50 quid cancellation charge!!

P!ss poor considering the dross we've had to endure at home this season.

Seems to be a fair few people gleefully claiming that we won't sell as many as this season and using that as a bit of a stick to beat the manager/owners with.

And they'll probably be right, seeing as it's very common to sell more season tickets on the back of a promotion and to see a bit of a decline the following season when in the same league.

Happened after 2016, it'll happen again. Totally normal.

That fifty quid charge, which will really only hit people in difficult financial circumstances who've been unable to make the final installation payments in time is disgusting and completely unjustifiable. Yes there'll be some extra admin required by ticket office staff to refund any initial payments, and the club also want to make sure people paying in instalments make the subsequent payments in time, but nicking fifty quid off of people who can't afford to make the final payments is really nasty. It'll take a staff member a couple of minutes to sort out a refund, and it doesn't cost fifty quid for the club to return a bank transfer, so how can they justify it?

It’s simple…

We all know STs need to go up with inflation as it is and the Tories continuing to destroy our economy, but just decide a percentage and put all STs up by that percentage. If it’s 10% then every single season ticket goes up by 10%

The increases announced mean the premium adult season ticket in the (your company’s name here) Upper Stand has gone up from £375 to £395. That’s an increase of 5.33%

Accompanied Junior season tickets in the “non-premium” areas of the ground have gone up from £50 to £70. That’s an increase of 40%.

How are these increases fair when compared to each other?

It is good to see the club finally selling STs before the current season has finished even if it’s only a few days.

The price he quoted was new STHs in the premium area of the ground.

Renewals in the Kop & Family Stand are £299 for adults.

I agree with your point, but I guess the club see it as losing money for every junior ticket sold that could have gone to a full paying adult.

Not saying that I agree with that and young fans are the adult fans of the future, so need to be encouraged.

17 quid a game if you get an early bird ST.

I would imagine it will be 23 quid match day price in the upper.

Our junior pricing is a function of an inadequate stadium that has lacked any meaningful positive investment since about 1982. The conversion to all-seater was forced upon the club but the club knew it was coming. It’s shite and we are paying for it now. There is no option but to increase accompanied junior tickets by a higher percentage. The price is still less than 4 walk-ups.

One innovation would be to allow a junior ticket to be upgraded to an adult for a discounted sum (a tenner) for all Tuesday night games.

Absolutely Woz but I don't really want to pay for a ticket in advance to watch Notts v Dorking or whoever on a cold November night,it's all about how many games that I think that I will attend and every one that I miss makes the season ticket less attractive to shell out all at once

Good luck in the play-offs Chalky. I hope you make it up as it would be a travesty if you didn't, after the season you have just had. Just make sure your players play right through til the final whistle this season.

I know we make it up last season having finished 6th, but we were nowhere near as far behind in the table as the 6th team will be this season.

County will reach 109 points if they win their final game at home to York, which they probably will. Absolutely mind blowing to think you could achieve such a total and still not win the league.

They will be comfortably the best ever team in any play-off campaign in terms of points finished ahead of their rivals (currently almost 40 points clear of the last play-off position and nearly 30 clear of 3rd). Psychologically though, how will missing out on automatic promotion with such an incredible record, on the back of what we did to them 11 months ago, affect them?

They’ve got the footballing ability to win the play-offs at a canter, it would seem. Have they got the mental resilience?

They're getting beaten by a scrappy goal bundled in from a Jordan Cropper throw-in. Barnet promoted despite finishing 30 points behind them. It's so inevitable I don't know why we're pretending otherwise.

Thanks Les,a gold star is winging it's way over to you

The thing about the playoffs is that 109 points are wiped clean and everyone starts afresh,it won't be easy to go up in two one off games, some teams sussed us out and park the bus and do a smash and grab ,I can see this happening again

I've got neutral tickets for the NL play-off final and really looking forward to watching whoever makes it to Wembley as such a big game.

On the subject of STs, I wonder if a lot of the new holders from last season - who bagged some prime spots- won't want to renew but then those seats cannot be bought for the early bird price by anyone looking for a new, decent ST. The bigger price may then put some off.

Also, it makes sense just to allow kids in the Main to free up adult seats in the other stands.

I didn't know the new owners were scammers.

Pretty sure that’s the finance company but I appreciate you need something to have a dig at…

I've got neutral tickets for the NL play-off final and really looking forward to watching whoever makes it to Wembley as such a big game.

.

So have I once Wembley confirmed that you could transfer them over to your clubs section if they reached the final,at a tennrr a ticket or £41 after Thursdays early bird finishes I'm willing to gamble the tenner

Looks like you can't transfer tickets ...

Sensible pricing in the most part... although with the family one I'd have it advertised better and make people aware the 2nd child goes free essentially

I'm pretty sure that I read on the Vanarama National League site that you could having initially saying it was in the neutral zone only, you had to contact Wembley via email once your club had confirmation of reaching the final but maybe I got it wrong?

And what did you expect  ST to stay the same
You support town and want  to watch home games you pay up and stay loyal...
So from my  point of view as your away supporting "Exile"if I go by train or car  costs will go up for next season.
Away ticket prices where  ever I go will be an increase too, Don't even go there on the price of Bovril makes me laugh everytime especially  when i do my weekly shop down Morrisons for a price of a jar (Bovril at footie matches a tradition for me by the way as I digress)
Remember the big rush for FA Cup tickets for Brighton all gone in 24Hrs you had the priviledge to do so as you were an ST holder .
Me had to go hospitality (table 11) would not have missed it for the world came out my boys inheritance  so to say .
Swings and roundabouts and the joys of supporting "The Mariners!" Or any footie team come to think we are all in the same boat.
So moan / Leave / Pay up and make cuts somewhere else. My auditor (Wife) will say doing the shopping Do you really  want that extra couple of beers ..
You a smoker and support town !!! Quit and save put money towards  your ST.
YOU can Red X to death thats my opionion voiced !!!
UTM See you at Stevenage  and looking forward to next season's  fixtures too.

That's a very good point that will need addressing. Perhaps there will be a "release your seat option" for those who know they are definitely not renewing and/or the early bird prices will be extended by a week or two but with all non-renewed seats released.

To be fair, anyone with half a brain knew they’d go up. Nobody forces fans to buy them and let’s face it, season tickets don’t just provide the playing budget, costs have increased for the club as well.

Perhaps the varying percentage rises seems a little unfair but I’d imagine there’s a reason even if some fans don’t like it. Again, the finance thing is clearly a rip off but I’d imagine it’s the same with most of the companies available. I dread to think how some would react if we were to ever progress up the league again and prices went up.

You can’t please all of the people all of the time. We’ve got a small group that would moan regardless…ticket prices go up, they moan it’s not affordable or value. They go down, it’s lack of ambition and clearly a smaller budget. If a pub did a pound a pint they’d want it to be 50p…

Bottom line is, if you want one, get one. If you can’t afford one, that’s understandable, there are other ways to pay but people will cut their cloth accordingly. However, nobody is forcing anyone to get one…

So twenty odd quid to watch Hursts diabolical home selection and tactics, or nine pints in Wetherspoons? I think I will take the drink next season.

That's fine - support and finance Wetherspoons at towns expense. Your choice.

Only the equivalent of 4 pints in the fan zone if that helps you feel better about it.

Aahmmm !!
For the 101st this month I to had to go Hospitality too for the Brighton game.
1. I had no ST to guarantee me a ticket which went in 24Hrs.
2. The price you had to pay not to miss out of
FA Cup game.
And to be honest it was quite an eye opener to see how the other half live so to speak to go pay at that price for a game of "Footie".
If it came round again in my life time yes I would do it again ....Go on treat yourself for your birthday / Christmas prezzie one time.
As there was enough of us doing including families with kids.

You must be on the dark fruits or carlsberg's because the rest of Mr Martins range has gone up a hell of a lot more % than our season tickets,i  can only manage 2.5 San Migs on a tenner in there now .
