I've heard reporting that Al Qaeda (or whatever their latest incarnation is named) might carry out such attacks to try and embarrass the Taliban who theoretically are the government and therefore in charge of security. On the other hand, you wouldn't put it past the Taliban to bomb some people they don't really like very much to discourage people trying to get out before the deadline expires.

Not wishing to rake up old ground what I voted for was to get out of the EU and that was the main theme of the last election. Hindsight and vision are brilliant but at the voting time, we have neither.

If we were told that Covid was around the corner and Afghanistan was going to be abandoned, along with Carrie was going to be a major influence on our governmental policies; then Boris would definitely never be anywhere near No.10

There is a famous quote - ‘Hindsight is a wonderful thing but foresight is better, especially when it comes to saving life, or some pain’

Yet Boris could never of imagined in his wildest nightmare what was to unfold, that said he has been an unimaginable poor leader to the point of leaving me politically homeless! It does sends a shudder down my spine though whenever I look at the Labour bench and think what might of been.
