I guess we don't really have a choice because the EFL starts 2 weeks before and National League North/South starts that day. It is unusual but it's not like we will be giving any secrets away because opposition teams watch us play anyway.

(Come to that I can't recall any one else playing another team from the same division pre season). However we don't face Chesterfield again until mid December. This time I assume PH & Co are looking outside the traditional box to assess our performance against another promotion favourite.
