So you have decided we will sponsor SP, based on about 3 or 4 people requesting it?  I think we need a bigger consensus of people than that!

Well I donated without really caring who we sponsor. The money is going to GTFC and that will do for me.

As Les (as usual) has done all the hard work I am not going to criticise his decisions. If you don’t like what’s happening feel free to start a fund. (And if it benefits the club I’ll back it

The wife was going away for a girly weekend.
I jokingly remarked  'I don't know whether to spend it watching porn or watching football'
'you may as well spend it watching porn' she replied
That's understanding darling what makes you say that? I asked

She said 'Well you already know how to play football'

Les, I've sent Sam a DM on twitter, see if he responds to that.

You're not going to please all the people all the time. A good few people thought it would be good to sponsor Shaun and I thought so too, that's why I made the enquiry! Nothing definite has been agreed yet.

I am not criticizing Les, I am just saying that as I put money into this fund, I would like to have some say in where it goes, at the very least a a poll ,and I'm sure some others would like that too.

But do you not think it would be fair that all the people who donated money should be given a chance to vote on who it should go to?  If some people are not bothered, then so be it,  If we have a vote it would probably end up being Sean anyway as people seem to be very happy to see him back at the club.  Bear in mind that we will be signing quite a few more players who may well be a candidate for the sponsorship too.

Shaun Pearson is a great choice Les.

When Leeds trainer Les Cocker was once told Norman Hunter had broken a leg, he asked: “Whose is it?”

I would have liked one of the young lads but i'm happy with Pearson too as he's been  a good player for us over the years.

Maybe if a few more people chuck in we can get closer to another

If you wait for us to make more signings though the earlier signings like SP will already have been snapped up and we could end up sponsoring someone with nowhere near the same pedigree as SP.

As I said before though, at this moment I've just enquired,  I wouldn't do anything definite before putting it up on here.
