Yes I saw it sa DB did. I’m more worried about our performance and staying up from tonight as I was against Newport. Still we won and hopefully with out the awful conditions we’ll play much better because in reality we were lucky to get the result tonight. UTM!!

everyone keeps saying about the wind and pitch, but it was the same for both sides, and they didn't seem overly hampered by it - they certainly used the conditions better than we did plus they looked v dangerous whenever they got the ball up top. ps whoever said mayonnaise was motm needs their head examined. apart from Hewitt (&Waterfall's heading) the defence was a disaster waiting to happen and got very lucky on a number occasions
pps haven't seen any praise for yet another goal saving challenge by the much maligned hewitt
Haven't read the whole thread, but did anyone mention Hewitt's ridiculous back jump double leg block in the box in the second half? It was like a low flying reverse Higuita.
Imagine what some of the comments would have been like if we had lost again!
The team hasn’t played a meaningful game for a fortnight and training must have been disrupted by the weather as well. The only pluses are that it gave time for some to get a bit fitter. The Eastwood signing looks the most significant when the defenders play like school kids. Their keeper made two McKeown type errors and our didn’t which shows why Macca needed a break.
Yes it was crap and I am no fan of Hurst but it is 3 points ........ and at this stage I will take crap play and 3 points any time.
