No harm in having a Match Thread  

Here is this evening's starting XI: Battersby, Idehen, Pollock, Öhman, Preston, Rose, Morton, Williams, Starbuck, Scannell, Gibson.

Subs: Russell, Mohsni, Hope, Spokes, Gomis, Jackson Jr, Touray Sisay.

I suspect there will be more people watching this than they'd like to admit to. Personally I'm wanting to see how Battersby gets on, hope he plays a blinder to put some pressure on Macca.

Yes .I haven't got  a problem with this competition as it gives much needed competitive game time to fringe players.
