Bit before my time. I’m guessing 17th/18th century. Which of the Stuart’s was that one about? Chuck II or (Bonny Prince) Chuck ‘III’? 😉
It's the Scots one, The Young Pretender How about - Clap hands, here comes Charlie Clap hands, good time Charlie Clap hands, here comes Charlie now I'm sure you could do something with that. Here's the tune if it's before your time! (Being kind here! ) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vdE5hfcMgtE&list=PLlrF9sdlXymTNLtg0AX4iErk8DWh1Rnyz

Perhaps so that those racist fans at Bradford can easily join in:
Oh Charlie Charlie Charlie Charlie Charlie Charlie Vernam
Repeat ad infinitum

Was just thinking the same.
Keep it simple. Unless Les has got another ‘Omar, Omar’ gem in his locker.
I would walk 500 miles And I would walk 500 more Just to be the man fan who walks a thousand miles ( amended because we have lots of girls and women who follow us everywhere we go! ) To see our Charlie score Charlie Vernam, Charlie Vernam Charlie Vernam, Charlie Vernam Charlie Vernam in the black & white stripes And repeat Got to say I don't have the copyright - I may well have plagiarised some of this!

The best I have seen Town play for a very long time,
Everybody played their part but Vernam was in a class of his own. We better get him signed up on a long contract now because bigger clubs will have taken notice of his class. His 3rd goal was the best goal since Barnes waltz through the Brazil team all those years ago.
Sadly I can not make it Saturday but I hope a big crowd turn up because this team deserves it.
Well done to all and a special thank you to Ollie,
We are going places with this man.

I don't know.... some guys have all the luck, picking and choosing when to watch! What a game to attend though Pete.... made up for you and everyone else who went there last night I don't think any of us have seen such a brilliant individual goal as Charlie's third ( and probably never will again ) but not just that, it was the ethic the whole team had Twice behind ( and unlucky to be so imho ) but we came back twice and then put the cherry on top of the icing on the cake If that doesn't add a few more to the attendance at BP on Saturday I don't know what will Shame you can't make it but as I've said elsewhere, get yourself up here for the play offs UTM ATAW GTID

Hmmm. At least Fenty could probably dig out a black polo neck sweater for that little number.

I must admit I was taken aback the other night when Peter Swann was on RH I heard him talking about a Scunthorpe lad.... He did say James Verman though so maybe he had someone else in mind https://www.bbc.co.uk/sounds/play/p08076yz ( 18 minutes in )
