I’ll be working in London the day of the game and the day after so I’ll be staying over. Hotels not looking cheap mind, even by London standards.

Some pre-match co-ordination would be useful as there’s very little for away fans near Stamford Bridge other than the ground itself. My plan was to stop off at Earl’s Court (The Blackbird just outside the tube is a lovely old school London pub) but ideally on the basis of a GTFC takeover.

It’s as good a spot as any for anyone coming via Kings Cross on the train, but I imagine numbers might be limited due to issues getting home.

It looks nice (spacious, nice high ceilings, Fullers ales) and it looks walkable to Stamford Bridge. But it looks a bit too 'nice' for us lot

Through the door there came familiar laughter,
I saw your face and heard you call my name.
Oh my friend we're older but no wiser,
For in our hearts the dreams are still the same.

That sounds like incitement. You'll be getting your collar felt young man.

Might take a Boris Bike from work in Shoreditch into central London for some dinner, then onto the District Line.

Why take a bike for dinner? Or is 'Boris Bike' rhyming slang?

If you’re going for dinner can we assume you’re having an afternoon off and having a pie at the match for your tea?

Sneek the kids out of school at lunchtime, nightmare drive to Earl's Court Ibis where I've booked a space. Couple of cans of aldi red bull and home by 2am.

Yep, 'Boris Bike from work' = promiscuous co-worker with Conservative voting tendencies

I always drive to Newark and get the train from there for London Games! Looking at AIRBNB options in Chelsea for staying - ticket dependent on all plans!
