There’s two trialists starting for Town this evening - Alex Penny is certainly one of them, and it looks like Tyler Garratt may be the other.

TOWN XI: Battersby, Trialist A, Öhman, Davis, Trialist, Curran, Whitehouse, Hewitt, Ogbu, Hanson, Green.

Early action
Öhman punts the ball forward for Hanson, who heads it into the path of Whitehouse, but the midfielder can’t quite take it into his stride as he looks to get into the box.

Curran then concedes a free-kick as he puts a heavy challenge in - the sort you’d probably get a yellow for in the regular season

Hanson on the mark again
The goal came from Elliott Hewitt’s long throw, which was headed on by Öhman towards the back post, where Green had his effort blocked by the Grantham keeper.

The ball fell straight into the path of Hanson though, who made no mistake as fired home from the centre of the box, and the big striker has his fourth goal in two games!

Pitch is terrible. Penny isn’t much better, looked poor so far. The other trialist hasn’t done anything good or bad.
