I see over the water that Ull City could be taken over by a consortium, mainly backed by Saudi Arabia. Given the precarious state of GTFC and how the Saudis operate, could we ever see ourselves in such a move if it ever came?

'I walked in the dressing room. The window was open and I thought that a sea fret had got in. Then I saw smoke billowing from a pipe in the corner of the room...it was my centre-forward. He looked seven stone wet through. He went on to score thirty-odd goals that season.' Lawrie McMenemy on encountering the legend that was Matt Tees.

Twas you your good self Chris. Not out for three days, four hours and 22 minutes and then a 6 year old upstart watching stumps catches a snick. Damn that snickometer!
